Day 4 of the Israel Tour- April 4, 2014
This morning after breakfast & checkout we left the sea of Galilee and the city of Tiberius heading south toward the city of Jericho and finally Jerusalem! We will be staying and Jerusalem for the remainder of our stay in Israel. Our first stop this morning was by the Jordan River (pic) at its most northern point, south of Sea of Galilee, it was a beautiful site to see as you can tell in picture. Our next stop was approximately 75 miles south to the site of where Jesus was baptized of John the Baptist. Whooooooooo Glory that's where John the Baptist said "behold the Lamb of God which take away the sins of the world." Amen! After Jordan River we stopped in the oldest city in the world the place called Jericho, here is where the book of Joshua comes alive! Especially Joshua 2 where Rahab the harlot believed on God to the saving of the 2 spies that went in to spy out the land of Cannan, & then Joshua 6 where the walls of that great city fell down flat! Also in Jericho, we seen the place where Jesus was tempted of the devil there in Matthew chapter 4, my what a site (pic) at truly was! We left Jericho and then made our way to the hotel and our final stop tonight in Jerusalem. We praise God for the things we've seen and heard thus far and cannot wait to begin our tour around Bethlehem and Jerusalem starting tomorrow!
